Book a Table

Reservations open on the 1st of each month for the following month at 10am SAST. For example February bookings open on 1 January.

Reservation Terms & Conditions
(Applies to Belly of the Beast, Galjoen, and Seebamboes)

Arrival Time
Lunch starts at 12:30 (where applicable). Dinner starts at 18:45. We serve all tables at the same time, so please be punctual. Late arrivals may result in missing courses already served.

Cancellations
Bookings are refundable if cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation will result in the loss of your deposit. If your party is smaller on arrival, the missing guests will be charged as a no-show, as we prepare for each guest in advance.

Dietary Restrictions
We cater for some dietary requirements and allergies, but can only accommodate them with at least 24 hours’ notice. Due to the nature of our set menu and small kitchen team, we cannot cater for: dislikes, low-carb diets, vegan diets, or allergies to onion, garlic, alcohol, coriander, black pepper, butter, cream, soy sauce, sugar, seed oils, or egg. We welcome vegetarians and pescatarians. While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we use many ingredients and cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens (e.g. nuts, shellfish, gluten).

Children
We do not accommodate children under the age of 12. All guests are required to enjoy the same set menu. We do not offer a children's menu or high chairs.

Accessibility
Unfortunately, Galjoen and Seebamboes are not wheelchair accessible. If accessibility is required, we recommend booking at Belly of the Beast, which is wheelchair friendly.

Gratuity
A 12% gratuity is added to every table and is shared among the entire team, including the kitchen.

Wine List & Corkage
We offer a curated selection of wines from local winemakers, and an optional wine pairing with dinner. We kindly ask that you support our list, but if you’d like to bring a special bottle, we charge R200 corkage per table, limited to one 750ml bottle.

Group Size
To preserve the intimate nature of the experience, we limit table sizes as follows:
Belly of the Beast – maximum of 8 guests
Galjoen – maximum of 14 guests
Seebamboes – maximum of 4 guests
